BioSouth enjoys success at ABIM 2023 in Basel, Switzerland

The Annual Biocontrol Industry Meeting (ABIM) is the largest event of its type in the world, bringing together over 1,800 participants from 58 countries around the world. Organised by the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture and IBMA (International Biocontrol Manufacturers Association) in Basel, Switzerland, this year it will be the largest yet with over 115 exhibitors.

For the second year in a row BioSouth joined forces with other exhibitors including AgResearch and Plant & Food Research on a joint New Zealand stand. BioSouth took the opportunity to showcase its own capabilities in microbial fermentation and scale-up and took part in multiple meetings with companies from around the world.

For BioSouth it was an incredibly successful event. New contacts were identified, and heads of agreements forged with existing companies in its rapidly expanding global network.

“In three days we achieved so much and established our position as a scale-up and production partner for northern hemisphere companies looking for a committed and capable manufacturing partner in Australasia” said BioSouth’s William Wattie.
